News update: Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan is now partially opened for tourism this monsoon from June 25.
Like previous years, Jeep and Canter safari in zone 6 to 10 of the Ranthambore National Park is open for tourists now. The tourism activity in Ranthambore instantly gained momentum after the park was opened and tourism activity allowed after a pause of two and half months. According to park officials since June 25, 2,356 wildlife tourists have visited the park. However, wildlife enthusiasts will now have to wait for another three months to enjoy safari in zone 1 to 5.
According to forest officials, Following the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA)’s directions, the jungle safari in the core area of the tiger reserve closed during monsoon season. It is very much necessary act as it will allow forests to rejuvenate and tigers to breed.”
Every year, zones are open for tourism in respect of viewing the safety of the tourists and condition of roads, Also, zones in the park is open on rotation basis for three months round the year wherein each zone would be closed for three months.
