Lord Ganesha in Hindu Mythology is considered the god of wish fulfillment and also the god of wealth, wisdom, fortune, and education. Every year thousands of devotees send marriage invitations and letters to be blessed by the holy blessings of Lord Ganesha as a symbol of hope to get their wishes fulfilled.

The History behind this spiritual place was that once there was a King Hammer and Alauddin Khilji at the Ranthambore fortification. During wartime, the King filled his godowns with food and other war necessities in the Ranthambore fort. As the war lasted for many years, the stored things in the godown were getting over, and being a great devotee of Lord Ganesha, King Hammer prayed to Lord Ganesha and while he was asleep, one night, Lord Ganesha came in his dream and said the lacking problem you’re facing will be over tomorrow morning. The next morning, he saw an idol of Lord Ganesha with three eyes stamped on one of the walls of the fort along with a miracle when he saw the godowns were again filled with food and other necessities required during the war. The King then, build a temple of Lord Ganesha in 1300 AD where he placed the idol of Lord Ganesha, Riddhi Siddhi (his wife), and two sons (ShubhLabh) along with the idol of Mushak (mouse, his vehicle).

Hence, from historic times, the importance of Trinetra Ganesh Temple is very well known, and the devotees have been worshipping Lord Ganesha around the world for a very long time. The Idol of Lord Ganesha has three eyes and is therefore well known by the name of ‘Trinetra’. There are mainly five aartis taking place every day in this well-known place Prabhataarti, Shringaraarti, Bhog, Sandhayaaarti, and Shayanaarti. These are the prayer chorus followed by the priests and the devotees here.
