Guide in Ranthambore

The first female guide Sooraj of Ranthambore National Park started her career as a naturalist at age 16 in 2007. Sooraj has always focused on her aim in spite of opposition from her family and relatives, believing in her to follow her dreams. Though, she got the only support of her brother Hemraj.

Sooraj was ultimately rewarded for her dedication for her work as a naturalist named as ‘Best Lady Guide’ by the Maharaja of Jaipur. Her simultaneous effort to her passionate work of 14 years as a naturalist in Ranthambore National Park is commendable.  Not only this, she has fame to her credit in many wildlife books and national newspapers.

She stands as an inspiration to many other women as she breaks the boundary and chooses a very unique career option. She created history and made a good change in the country by breaking the monotony of gender bias mentality.

Her exemplary success reveals the power of the women. She is indeed beautiful inside out and motivates many females for choosing such career options. She made a mark ultimately by making everyone realize that women are all the way courageous and can do anything if she has passion.
