The Forest Department of Ranthambore National Park has temporarily closed the road leading to the Trinetra Ganesh Temple, situated inside the national park, from August 30 to September 5. The decision has been taken to carry out essential repair and maintenance work on the route. According to officials, the road has been damaged due to continuous rainfall, making travel difficult for devotees and visitors. To ensure safety and improve accessibility, the department has initiated construction and restoration work along the stretch.
Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Manas Singh stated that the Ganesh Temple road frequently suffers damage during the monsoon season, leading to inconvenience for pilgrims. The ongoing repairs are aimed at providing a smoother and safer route for those visiting the temple in the future. This maintenance work is crucial as the Ranthambore National Park is one of the popular wildlife destinations in India.
During this period, entry to the temple via this route will remain completely restricted. The Forest Department has assured that the road will be reopened once the work is completed. Authorities have also requested devotees and travellers to cooperate with the temporary closure, emphasising that the move is necessary to ensure long-term safety and ease of access to the temple.
